About our speaker: Claire Louder has been a chamber, association, and nonprofit executive since 1989, including most recently 10 years with the West Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce in Odenton, Maryland. Previous organizations have included the Jackson County (MS) Chamber of Commerce, Associated Builders and Contractors of South Texas and of Texas, and the San Antonio Health Care Partnership.
She formed Louder NonProfit Strategies, LLC in 2016 to provide strategic planning, board governance guidance, benchmarking, and mentoring to chamber, association, and nonprofit clients. She has a passion for helping organizations succeed through establishing strategic direction and adopting industry best practices. Her years of leadership and involvement in the industry have resulted in a knowledge of industry best practices and resources that she brings to the table in helping client organizations achieve their goals.
Claire is a 2009 graduate of the U.S. Chamber’s Institute for Organization Management (Northeast, though she started at Southeast), a Certified Association Executive (CAE), and the Maryland Chamber of Commerce Executive’s 2012 Chamber Executive of the Year. She also holds a Master of Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government (1989). She serves as faculty for the US Chamber’s Institute for Organization Management, primarily in governance and strategic planning.
She and her husband Dave now live on Johns Island outside Charleston, South Carolina.
